as usual, i shall try to keep this spoiler-free

to put it plainly, i loved the prestige.  if you're expecting lots of magic (like my brother did) you'll be getting something else.  if you're expecting two guys trying to upstage outsmart each other, that's what you're gonna get.  it's got a great plot, and twists leave you with this face ---> O_o
